One of the most popular accessories to add to a rifle, and also one of the most practical, is a vertical grip. The addition of a grip allows for greater manipulation of the gun, as well as providing a more stable shooting platform. There are of course many grips to choose from, and knowing which one to go for can be a bit of a stab in the dark. When it comes down to it, you’re looking for something comfortable to hold, at a neutral wrist position – some people find the completely vertical ones a little too rigid and so opt for the angled ones. Similarly, some people find the angled ones awkward, and prefer the vertical type. And then of course comes the alternate uses such as routing a pressure switch etc.
This attachment combines the advantages of a vertical grip and a bipod, hence the name. The grip allows greater versatility and superior weapons manipulation, whilst the bipod gives a much more stable shot at the push of a button. Suitable for any gun with a 20mm RIS/RAS rail on the bottom, this accessory allows you to squeeze a little more out of your gun, as well as maximising rail space. The grip itself is comfortable to hold, and affords smoother manoeuvrability.
The legs of the bipod are spring loaded, and release at the push of a button. To reset, simply fold the legs together and push them up into the grip until you get a positive click.
